Skin Deep: Sardis County #1 is Available for Pre-order

 

The first short story in my Sardis County series, "Skin Deep" is set to be published as a stand-alone e-book on Tuesday, May 20th and is now available for pre-order. Originally published in the 2021 anthology When Your Beauty IS the Beast by Ye Olde Dragons books, it plays off the theme of Beauty and the Beast. It also serves as an indirect sequel to Accidents, which I co-wrote with Lyndon Perry back in 2014. Here's the blurb:

Dane Carter is the sheriff of Sardis County, a small community outside of Memphis that has a reputation for strange phenomena. However, the weirdness hits close to home when his beauty queen niece goes missing.
